A combination of “plucking” and “jogging” this multitasking activity combined with burning calories with keeping the environment trash-free. Picking up trash while jogging is not a new concept. Many of us have met a runner who could not help but stop in the middle of a run to pick up an empty beer can or a candy wrapper. There are numerous compelling reasons to begin plogging. You're doing the community, the environment, and your health a world of good whether you're logging solo or with a group. You'll receive a more effective workout. If you're worried that stopping to pick up trash will interfere with your workout, be assured that the reverse is true. Plogging began as a way for a group of runners to socialize while running and cleaning up the environment. The volunteers were asked to bring garbage bag and gloves.
