ABOUT
PEERS TY SYSTEM MOVEMENT is an environmental group that endeavors to bring awareness to the impact and causes of the ever-changing climate, with the goal of implementing climate change mitigation projects and activities, and the attainment of a sustainable environment.
MISSION
To protect, improve, and sustain the environment as a valuable and integral part of the community and the people in general.
To promote the environmental projects and activities to uphold the amalgamation of humans to Mother Nature.
VISION
To achieve a clean, healthy, and well-protected environment, supporting a sustainable eco-friendly economy and well-driven society.
HISTORY
PEERS TY SYSTEM is a non-profit organization that started in 2017 with the coordination and involvement of the students of MMSU, College of Business, Economics and Accountancy, with the initiative of Bensen Urbano Pola, MPh, MPA, who was then teaching in the University on part-time status. The name PEERS TY comes from the initials of the various anthropological approaches against climate change, namely; Pro-Environmental Act, Earth Friendly User, 5Rs and SB Way, Trees for Life, and You Forest. The movement is firmly committed to the continued practice and implementation of the anthropological approaches that will ultimately transform lives consistent with the philosophy of the movement geared towards the integration of human mutual reciprocity with Mother Nature.
PHILOSOPHY
PEERS TY SYSTEM philosophy is inspired by the concept the ‘YOU is for the YOU', that whatever we do to nature reflects who we are as rational beings. Man is part of nature and he is one with nature. Man does not own or possess nature, instead, he is a steward of nature. If human beings exist as a liability to nature, such treatment bounces back to him. Nature takes its own course to respond to greater than how human beings relate to her. The identity of humans plays a reflexivity cause between humans and Mother Nature.
